Voici un petit texte que mon prof d'anglais nous a donné à faire pour le 18 novembre, j'ai encore le temps pour le faire mais si ça interesse quelqu'un de le faire aussi ... Lâchez vous dans les commentaires ... Bon courage

"New problems with the modern TECHNOLOGY....

GPS
A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken into while they were at a football game. Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.

When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen.

 The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.

Something to consider if you have a GPS - don't put your home address in it. Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know where you live if your GPS were stolen.

 

 MOBILE PHONES

 I never thought of this.......

This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet etc,was stolen.
  
20 minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says 'I received your text asking about our Pin number and I've replied a little while ago.'
  
When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.

  
Moral of the lesson:

 Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list.
Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc....
And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back.
Also, when you're being text by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet 'family and friends' who text you.

Les différents thèmes abordés dans les différentes langues vivantespfff

-          l’école et l’éducation (bien entendu !)

-          tout le système éducatif

-          la famille

-          les ados, jeunes, enfants

-          la violence, les conduites à risque, addiction, conflits

-          situation économiques, chômage, société, organisation

-          la pauvreté

-          la vie politique

-          la place de la femme dans la société

-          l’immigration, les minorités ethniques

-          la pollution, l’écologie

-          le Développement durable

-          l’environnement

 

Généralement, ce sont ces thèmes qui seront traités dans les textes et donc également abordés lors de l’entretien… Mon prof d’anglais de l’IUFM nous les a cités et nous a conseillé de revoir le vocabulaire au fur et à mesure, je vais répertorier du vocabulaire petit à petit que ce soit en anglais ou en espagnol…

J’ai trouvé un lien super pour l’apprentissage des langues. Toutes les langues y sont ! (Anglais, Espagnol, Italien, Allemand, Catalan et Occitan) C’est génial comme lien … A vous de juger !

Remarque : il s'agit de documents pdf qui peuvent être volumineux car ils intègrent des documents audio (à titre d'exemple, le document concernant l'anglais pèse environ 36 Mo).


Conseil : ne pas essayer d'ouvrir le fichier pdf qui vous intéresse en ligne mais le télécharger plutôt sur le disque dur de votre ordinateur (le téléchargement peut être long...) et l'ouvrir ensuite.

Allez télécharger les documents, ils vous seront très utiles !!

A review of "Super Size Me"

 

Everything is bigger in America according to Morgan Spurlock, who has crafted a  contemporary horror story by subjecting himself to thirty solid days of a McDonald's-only  diet. Ugh1.

Under the supervision of a cardiologist, a gastroenterologist, a nutritionist and an internist,  Spurlock explores the ritual delights of fast food, an American tradition. As Spurlock's  health deteriorates and his weight and cholesterol balloon, he gives us frightening facts  with the urgency of a dead man walking.

Sixty percent of Americans are overweight; in certain states almost one of four is  considered obese. Couple this with the fact that McDonald's is attempting to Super-size  the planet with their saturated fat-stuffed burgers and fries, and you've got yourself the  makings of an intriguing experiment.

Spurlock's fiancee is horrified by her lover's McDiet. Along with an unhealthy pallor and  flagging energy, Morgan's sex drive is merely a shadow of its former self. His mounting  depression leaves little time for anything but periodic check-ups with his on-call docs,  who are alarmed at the results.

Spurlock gains a hellishly unhealthy seventeen pounds in twelve days (almost twenty five  in 7 o thirty days), while his liver metastasizes into a state of shock from the steady diet of  sugar and fat.

The tension mounts as Spurlock endeavors to complete his investigation while racking up  alarming symptoms that will seriously endanger his health. This film is guaranteed to keep  you from entering a fast-food institutions for years to come.

McDonald's pulls in 46 million suckers2 a day, most of them yearning for3 the comfort and  ease of a fast-food fix4. McD's junk food is worshipped to the tune of 1.4 billion of annual  advertising dollars.

Shortly after the heavy-handed hype of Super Size Me at this year's Sundance Film Fest  (where it won the Director's Award), McDonald's suspended Super-Sizing at all of its fast- food outlets. A small step for the man (Spurlock) and a big leap for mankind.

Un gros morceau en Anglais auquel il faut s'attaquer dès maintenant losque l'on est débutant ou lorsque l'on a pas fait de l'Anglais depuis un bon moment c'est la Partie sur les VERBES IRREGULIERS !!! Il y en a beaucoup parmi les verbes les plus courant et surtout parmis les verbes que l'on est susceptible d'utiliser devant le jury, il serait dommage de se tromper car cela vaut cher !! Autant commencer à apprendre dès maintenant une liste assez chiante mais qui servira à coup sur !! Bon je vous en mets un petit peu chaque semaine qui vont suivre, cela pourra vous aider !

Voici des expressions qui peuvent être utiles pour l'Oral d'anglais! J'ai énormément d'expressions qui peuvent servir mais là voici un petit résumé... car il y en existe des tonnes biensur ! Perso, je pense qu'il faut apprendre par coeur quelques une qui sont moins transparentes au français c'est-à-dire qui a une traduction quasi mot à mot ! Cela plaira plus au jury de voir une personne qui utilise des expressions que l'on nomme idiomatique ! Bon courage ...
